    Description

    Very good condition, original, WWII
    blade marked "CATTARAUGUS 225Q" fighting knife. These knives were made for quartermaster/field use w/a heavy, thick blade for prying open crates and a checkered pommel for hammering. They were popular w/all servicemen and widely used. Length is just over 10 1/2" w/a 6 1/8" blade. It has very light sharpening w/an excellent edge. Shows some
    minor scratches and a
    good amount of original finish. No rust or pitting. G
    uard is tight. Leather grip is very good and in
    good solid shape. Pommel is clean and tight. Original leather sheath that is also in very good shape. Very nice workhorse knife here.
