WWII Era US Army M1942 Bayonet with M3 Scabbard for the M1 Garand Rifle - Marked: A.F.H. 1942 - Original - Very Nice Condition
Up for sale is WWII Era
US Army M1942 Bayonet with M3 Scabbard for the M1 Garand Rifle.  The M1942 Bayonet was made with a 16" blade.  It is marked: A.F.H. over US w/Flaming Bomb, 1942.  A.F.H. is American Fork & Hoe Co.  It has black plastic grips and the M3 Scabbard.  The scabbard is marked: US with the Flaming Bomb.  The bayonet is used, see photo's for condition.  No rust on the blade.  A couple minor nicks in the blade.  Minor evidence of sharpening. Very minor finish wear.  Very nice overall condition.  There is pitting on the metal throat of the scabbard, see photo.  This bayonet will fit the the following rifles: M1903 or M1903A3 Springfield or the M1 Garand Rifles.
