vintage USMC NCO sword with scabbard by N.S.Meyer

Description

USMC NCO sword with scabbard. 31-3/4" blade with marking N.S.Meyer Conqueror trademark. Etched on both sides with nearly identical "UNITED STATES MARINES", scrolls, and Marine motifs. Tiny bit of rust near the felt washer, otherwise blade is bright and beautiful. Exterior has attractive patina on brass parts, fine brass wire and leather wrap on grip, fine leather wrap on scabbard with a few tiny "flea bites" on the seam. These vintage Marine swords are the same pattern still in use today, but a much higher quality and are a nice collector item or make a wonderful gift for any Marine who has earned the right to wear it.
