Jabba the Hutt Rare Resin Monster Model Kit
As seen in “Star Wars – Return of the Jedi,” here’s a rare resin model of Jabba the Hutt, complete and unbuilt after a quarter century.
Produced independently some 25 years ago, Jabba was designed in scale to Kenner’s 3 ¾” Star Wars figures. It’s an accurate and well-crafted sculpt of the space slug that assembles to measure 13 ½” long x 7” tall x 5 ½” deep on display. All three kit components are cleanly cast, with little more than a mold seam to scrape down.
Jabba’s main body is a partially hollow-cast piece, while left and right arms are cast solid, with both neatly keyed for a proper fit.
Make no mistake, this Jabba the Hutt model saw a very limited production run, and was hard to acquire even when first released. Today, it’s quite scarce. This one is complete, unbuilt, and packaged in its original polybag package.
An obscure artifact in the Star Wars Universe you’ll probably never see again – because there aren’t any more.
