    Description

    Here we have a rare tiny McCoy bowl.  This is fantastic with the molded pie crust pattern on the shoulder and the pink and blue glaze bands around the side.  The pink and blue bands are flawless with no misses, skips or smears.  The molding of the piecrust design on the shoulder and the drapery pattern around the base are well defined.  The square base on this bowl is perfect without the signs of wear often seen on the corners.  The tiny bowl measures just under 4 ½” in diameter by 2 ½” high and is in near mint condition with only a tiny flake to the top of the rim that doesn’t detract.  The underside is impressed “U.S.A.”  This molded pattern is unique to McCoy and dates to the 1930s.
