This kit allows you to upgrade your Dell PowerEdge R730 with an 8x 2.5" backplane to the 16x 2.5" backplane providing 8 additional hot-swap 2.5" SAS or SATA drive slots.
This kit includes the 16-bay backplane, metal drive cage & cables.
This backplane will only fit the Dell PowerEdge R730 8 or 16x 2.5" bay chassis.
SAS cable attaches to dedicated PERC mini-mono slot
Condition - used, pulled from fully functional R730 servers
