    Description

AMT ERTL (2005) STAR WARS MILLENIUM FALCON CUSTOM BUILT AND LIGHTED. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This is my custom built/painted/ LED lit of the Star Wars Corellian light freighterYT-1300. I bought this model back in 2006, and I wanted to build my own version of the Millenium Falcon. So using inspiration from other YT-1300 ships I painted a concentric circular pattern on the hull, there is also yellow accent coloring. The hull is lightly weathered, I kept my ship cleaner than Han Solo. :) There is even my own hull insignia on the outer cockpit area. The LED is a simple setup, Engine is lit by blue LEDs, I created a cargo hold (in the open position, sorry it can't be closed) with interior details and it is lit by a white LED. Each of the landing gear wells is lit by white LEDs and well as the cockpit. Please note this is the original cockpit that was supplied in the kit, the backing is an aftermarket decal. The cockpit interior doesn't look like the millenium falcon and to me that just makes it more NOT the Millenium Falcon.
Now, this a simple lighting set up so there isn't a power switch, I couldn't decide where to put it and have it blend with the hull so I didn't add one. The female power port is the only non hull part, and I placed it as inconspicuous as possible. The model is powered by
    12V DC
so you will need a converter, check Amazon, it is pretty inexpensive. Get one with multiple head options so you can find the one to fit the port. So once it is plugged in it will turn on the lights. (if the lights don't turn on, then switch the polarity) I tested the model and took pictures before packing it for shipping so everything works. The only issue is one of the rear landing gear has separated in two (see photo) but it doesn't affect the model as the two parts have their own slot that they fit into.
For shipping I have pulled out the landing gear and wrapped them separately. The bag has gears written on it.
I have had this kit for 14 years and I would like it to go to a new home now where it can be enjoyed. I will be putting my other Star Wars models on eBay so keep an eye out. Also getting rid of my Fantasy Flight  X Wing miniatures game so that's coming too.
This is SOLD AS IS NO RETURNS,
I have done my best to package the model so it will get to you in one piece but I suggest you get insurance so if any damage occurs in shipping you can file a claim with the shipper.
    Thanks
