Description
This vintage Sci-Fi model lot has 10+ classic models including 7 original boxes and 8 original model paperwork instructions. The set has 2 virtually untouched model sets whose parts are still in plastic and/or attached to their original frames/moldings. These 2 basically untouched models are the 1977 Revell Enterprise Space Shuttle & 747 - and the 1979 USAirfix Apollo Lunar Module Model. The lot also has 3+ models that are no longer in boxes. Please see the list below for details. And of course zoom in on all the pictures for what is included in this auction. I'm sorry but I did not try to map out every item in the boxes that were partially built. Anyway, here is the list of models:1.
1979 MPC Star Wars Han Solo's Millennium Falcon Illuminated Model Kit 1-1925 - box, instructions, numerous parts and wires, etc. - the last page of the instructions is cut out as if there was a drawing of the falcon or something to cut along - just thought I'd let you know - oh and there is a rip on the one side of the box as you can see in the pictures
2.
1978 MPC Star Wars Darth Vader's Tie Fighter Model Kit 1-1915 - box, instructions, numerous parts but maybe missing ½ of Darth Vader himself
3.
1977 Revell Enterprise Space Shuttle and 747 1:144 Scale Model Airplane Kit #H-177 - box, instructions and likely all parts and stickers. This model does not appear to have been used at all - there are still some parts in plastic, etc. The box is rather mushed in here and there but it is all intact.
4.
1979 USAirfix Apollo Lunar Module Model 70040 in 1:72 Scale Modeled in Color - box, instructions and likely all parts and stickers. This one also does not appear to be used at all - parts are still attached to frame moldings.
5.
1979 USAirfix Vostok Model 70080 in 1:144 Scale Modeled in Color - box, instructions, stickers, numerous parts and some still on the frame/molding
6.
1979 USAirfix Gerry Anderson Starcruiser 1 Four Spacecraft in 1 Model 7100 Snap Together Kit - box, instructions, stickers, numerous parts perhaps all - the box is rather mushy in the middle but all there
7.
1978 Monogram Snap-Tite Enterprise Space Shuttle Model Kit 1014 - box, instructions, stickers, numerous parts perhaps all
8.
Space: 1999 Eagle I Transporter Fun Dimensions 1901 - instructions, but no box, and some extra vehicle that I don't recognize but it sure looks Space: 1999-ish to me - so it is also included.
9.
Vintage spacecraft model with 2 parts that interlock - they look like they came from the 1979 Orion: 2001 Model Kit by USAirfix. Please do not hold me to that description. But the components look that way to me. However, I have no box or instructions to prove that guess.
10.
Vintage spaceship that I believe is from the Interplanetary UFO Mystery Ship Glow in the Dark Strategic Space Command AMT622. Again, please do not hold me to that description. I have no box or instructions - but I remember this thing glowing in the dark.
When I am able to use Priority Mail flat rate boxes from the USPS, I try to offer free shipping or at most ask for a 50/50 split in shipping cost. But for this lot, I will not be able to use any of their flat rate sized boxes. So I'm asking the auction winner to pay the cost of shipping. When I looked up shipping costs for the size (24x16x12) and weight (11 pounds) of the box required, I saw that the cost to ship the box via USPS Priority Mail at the standard post office rate would cost between .70 to ship to Zone 1 (closest to me) and could be as high as .25 to ship to Zone 8 (farthest from me in the contiguous 48 states). Naturally you'll decide if the expense is worth it to you.
I am not a business; I'm just a private owner in possession of these items since they came out (or thereabouts). I'm simply trying to make people happy before I go to judgment. When all of the items of interest are auctioned off, my online garage sale will end. Anyway, I will ship via USPS Priority Mail to USA locations. Oh and I never use a reserve price in my auctions. Please remember that these items are sold as are, no returns. Thank you.
