    Description

    This is a rare, limited edition Blue Moon 1/48th Resin Star Wars Y-wing model, released in 2006 from famed Alfred Wong molds and was quickly shut down by the powers that be that held licensing rights (in short, if we can't cash in on your Star Wars stuff, we won't let you produce it - like the SMT 1/48 kit was a few years prior to that) despite it being called a "Wishbone fighter".  The model was a good, solid build to create a 1/48 companion to the X-wings out there, and now one went for 0.00 sealed last year.  I opened this to make sure everything, from cockpit to nacelles, was intact and in good order, and it sure is, with the center section left in it's original wrap and the kit left with it's original peanut filing to protect it.  We built the other a few years ago, and the results were fantastic - as you can see in the last five pictures.
